Since 2018 Dijk and I are romantically involved, and as of January 2020 we live together in the center of Deventer; our cozy base.
Dijk has worked in youth care. He has two sons and expects his first grandchild in the spring of 2020. Dijk retired early 2019, and now enjoys his free time. He likes to walk (he is not shy of thousands of kilometers of caminoas in Spain), to cook, to play chess regularly and volunteers as a mediator in broken families.
Dijk grew up in a family with all kinds of animals (dogs, rats, parrots, cats etc.) and later also had dogs and cats of his own.
Currently we ourselves don't have pets.
Together we enjoy the homely life; taking care of animals and plants; do things in a slow paced manner; walking (preferably in the company of one or two dogs); read; and discover new places. We both love the bustle of a big city, as well as the nature and tranquility of a remote place.
Since 2019, we house sit and pet sit together with great pleasure.
